FOLS supports conservation and ecosystem balance through community-driven volunteer work and controlled programs.
Habitat & Trail Maintenance: Volunteers participate in regular trail maintenance, clean-up days, and trash collection to keep the park’s pristine trails safe and accessible.
Population Control Program: To manage the local ecosystem and mitigate the impact of invasive/overpopulated species, FOLS coordinates controlled, fee-based archery and crossbow hunting programs for feral pigs and deer. The fees generated from these programs are directly reinvested into park preservation.
